A Book of Condolence for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II has been set up in the North Aisle in St Michael’s and a similar Book of Condolence has been set up in St Mary’s; please add your thoughts and prayers to either book, if you wish.

St. Albans Cathedral
Visitors are welcome to leave floral tributes and light candles in addition to signing the Cathedral’s condolence book. From Saturday 10 September the Cathedral will be open daily from 08:00am-08:00pm with Compline at 07.30pm every evening.

St. Albans Cathedral, Sunday 18 September
6pm – a service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Compline at 7.30pm followed by the National Moment of Reflection at 8pm

St. Albans Cathedral, Monday 19 September
From 10am | Live streaming of Queen’s State Funeral – TV screens in Nave.
10am – 11am | The Cathedral bells will ring half muffled
